Going on these days...

Okay, so it's been over a year since I wrote a blog post.  I wrote about a thousand times in my head, but nothing made it here.  This is not to say there was nothing I wish I had shared, as a lot has been going on.  I suppose there is no time like the present.

I realized that a lot of the things I have experienced lately may be of some interest to others.  I am no expert on ANYTHING, to be clear.  But just maybe I can share something that will make make a difference to someone else, and if nothing else I will get to unload what's floating around in my head.
Since it seems I am nearly a different person since I started this blog, but refuse to start over with a new one, Here is a brief synopsis of what life is like right now:

I am a 32 year old woman living in Southern New Hampshire.  My husband and I bought a two family house two and a half years ago and we live on the first floor, with my husbands brother and two friends living upstairs, It feels like the walls are starting to close in on my family of 5.  My husband recently got a promotion at work, which I hope will lead to another, and eventually enough money to get us a bigger house, a much bigger house.

I am technically a stay at home mom, however I run an Etsy business out of a workshop in my basement, that keeps me pretty busy.

We have three gorgeous sons.  Evan turned 4 in December.  He is a handful and a half.  People like to say it's because he's so smart, I agree that he is smart but sometimes think he just enjoys being a pain in the ass.  He's also sweet, and friendly and funny.  Our twins turned two in November.  They are as different as can be.  Noah was diagnosed with Autism in December and I think we have been coping with that as well as anyone could.  He is very soft spoken, and sweet, and he is very smart and curious.   Tobey is full of personality, he is a tiny peanut and makes up for it by occasionally talking in a very deep voice.  It's hilarious I promise.  He is much like Evan and they get along great, or fight like animals.

It's interesting to juggle preschool, and therapy, and naps and meals and blah blah blah.  It works, because it has to work.  I make it work.  Not alone though, I have lots of help.  My mom and my in-laws have been an amazing help.

What else.... I am a fitness junkie.  I wake up at 4:30 every day to get my work out in.  I am working towards reaching my goal weight this Spring.  I ran my first 5K, 10K, and half marathon last year, and am planning to go for my first marathon in 2016.  For now I am working on getting faster so when I run that marathon it doesn't take me 5 hours.

I suppose the sums it up for now.  I hope to be back soon!
