Catching Up With Evan - 5 Months

I may feel like I got punched in the face a bit, but my surgery went well and I think the recovery will be pretty easy.  I should be laying down and resting but that's a tough thing for me to do, so I have to sprinkle in a little bit of "doing stuff".  I just paid all of our bills, which always feels nice to get out of the way.  I ordered some new fun stuff to go along with some ideas I have for my shop, very exciting! And I wanted to make sure to stay on schedule with my lovely little Evan catch up session. 


He's pushing 14 months now, it's so hard to believe!  He's so awesome, I love him more every day.  I love that he is so interactive now too.  He's starting to throw words around.  He's been saying "mama" and "dada", and "more" for a while now.  He will point and say "wsat?".  Jibberish if you aren't paying attention but he's actually inquiring as to what an item is.   The ceiling, the couch, the fridge, anything he feels like mentioning.  He loves pointing at things.  

The other morning we were watching Sesame Street while I procrastinated on getting ready for work.  He said Elmo a few times, pretty cute, I think that's a common one.  I'm sure I don't help matters when I buy him a furry Elmo Chair.

Anyway, back to the matter at hand, Evan's fifth month was the last one where he really seemed like a little baby, it's been a wild ride ever since.
