Catching Up With Evan - 4 Months

Does anyone else look back at pictures of their kids and tears just start rolling?  It's so funny how I am so much stronger in many ways since becoming a mom, and at the same time I am a huge sap over other things that I never would have understood before.  


Keeping on schedule here, we are updated to when Evan was four months.    


Just before Evan was four months old he got some sort of virus that gave him some pretty excellent diarrhea.  I'm sure you wanted to hear about that.  Anyway, it was the first time he was really sick and he got horrendous diaper rash to boot.  So his doctor wanted us to give him some rice cereal mixed in with his formula. By the way, I realize I never mentioned that Evan was a formula baby, for anyone that cares about that sort of thing, I'll explain later!

After he was feeling better, and he went for his four month checkup with the doc, he was cleared to start trying out solid foods.  I am deeply saddened by the fact that it seems my photos from his first tasty meal of carrots were on an old cell phone.  But since I can't do anything about it, I suppose I just have to move on! 

The first time Evan really got to spend much time outside, the weather was getting nicer!

Man, it was so easy when he couldn't go anywhere on his own!  Nobody ever said it was supposed to be easy though I suppose, and I wouldn't change a thing.  I am so in love with being Evans momma!
