Baby Artwork

Yesterday when I picked up Evan from daycare, it was quite hectic as usual.  The teacher and I trying to talk over the babbling, or screaming little kids, while attempting to gather all of our belongings that need to come home for the weekend.  Evan's teacher had a plastic bag full of papers that she was sending home with me.  And that was what she told me, "'I'm sending home Evans papers because they are really piling up". Or something like that anyway.  I thought it was just all the log sheets where they write what he had to eat each day and how long he napped for.

This morning I was tidying up around the house and decided to empty out Evans school bag.  What I found brought me to tears like a blubbering fool.  It was a bunch of little crafts and artwork they had done in class.  My initial reaction was to be upset.  I was so sad that I didn't know about all of these earlier.  It seems like they should have been home with me a long time ago.

I am exchanging sad for proud.  Because it is a lot more fun to feel proud.  And with pride in my little boy comes photos.

I think he did a pretty nice job, I'm so proud of him.  Now I just need to do some projects with him too!
